A bright yellow/orange color distinguishes the Uni as the highest grade. Female roe have a more granular texture, while males produce more smooth-textured Uni. At its best Uni delivers a sweet, buttery taste with the slightest hint of the saltiness of the sea.
We recommend eating Uni raw. It's also a great addition to pasta sauces.
Uni should never be frozen as its unique texture is not preserved in the thawing process. Keep the tray very still in the coldest part of the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

As good or better than getting it from Santa Barbara directly!
Delicious! Will order again!
No photos of the uni because my husband ate it so fast I didn’t get a chance to take a photo. Seriously, it is fresh and delish! Thank you!
Best quality premium grade Uni that taste like butter!
Fat uni that works on a bed of rice or in pasta! Fresh too of course and cleaned well. Not gray and skinny like some uni I see at Asian seafood marketplaces.
Thank you Jeffrey!
Delicious firm sweet uni. Stronger tasting than Hokkaido. Eaten as is with french bread, and as uni pasta topped with scallop and bottarga!
Fresh briny creamy & delicate ocean flavor. Served as shown in photo first night and was still wonderful 2nd night topped over sake & dashi flavored egg custard over rice.
My husband loves uni. Yours doesn’t disappoint. One of the best, fresh & tastyyyy. Would DEFINITELY buy from you again. Fast & friendly delivery driver too.
