A thin skinned, seedless variety of mandarin orange, this fruit is known for having very flavorful outer skin that is perfect for marmalades, zesting into any number of recipes, and is thin enough to muddle into a perfect cocktail. It also adds a great depth as the twist in a Negroni. The fruit is very easy to peel so can be eaten right out of hand and is intensely sweet and flavorful. Just adding the juice of one to a glass of bubbly makes a fantastic mimosa. They are delicate but a sharp knife and careful handling can yield slices for a savory or fruit salad.
