Percebes/ Gooseneck Barnacles - 1/2 lb


One need not travel to Spain for these delicious, exotic creatures. They can be hand-harvested right here on the Pacific Coast.

They have a tender texture similar to octopus and a sweet taste reminiscent of crab, lobster, or shrimp.

Simply boil them in salt water until tender (roughly 2 to 3 minutes depending on size), and serve them with either butter, lemon, or olive oil.
