Ssam Jang is a salty and savory fermented soybean paste and chili condiment made with loads of alliums, chopped walnuts, and seasonal lacto-fermented chili peppers. It’s chunky and funky — and vegan, too! Locally made in San Francisco by Queen’s, Ssam Jang is traditionally served with grilled meats or lettuce wraps (ssam), but it also shines in rice bowls, veggie dishes, and even as a dip or spread when you're craving deep, fermented flavor with a little heat.
Ingredients: Fermented soybean paste, organic yellow onion, organic scallion, fermented seasonal pepper, organic walnut, organic serrano pepper, organic garlic, ume plum syrup, roasted sesame oil.
