The Finnan Haddock is fabulous. If you haven't tried it yet - please do. It makes wonderful kedgeree, Cullen skink (a soup), F.H. rarebit, and sooooo many other delicious dishes.

Basically I only purchase fish that I cannot normally find on the west coast - and it is ALWAYS super.

I made the fish chowder , just add potato and milk , coconut milk and some dry herbs, white wine, taste good.
