Naturally Sweet & Nutty | Velvety | Sugar Alternative
Aedan Amazake is a traditional Japanese sweet rice ferment made by combining mochi rice with rice koji and gently incubating it to break down starches into naturally occurring sugars. The result is a thick, creamy base with delicate sweetness that's entirely alcohol-free and rich in probiotics. Chefs use it to bring savory sweetness to any dish.
How to use: Great as a low-sugar sweetener in smoothies, desserts and baked goods. Dilute with water to create a nourishing warm or chilled drink. Amazake is also an excellent substitute for refined sugar in sauces, dressings and glazes.
