Our 2nd time ordering the kit. First time was excellent. This time not so much which was do to the different brand bottled crushed tomatoes. The crushed tomatoes were still raw and had skins left on the tomatoes. I was able to salvage the dish with my own crushed tomatoes but disappointed that, my guess is, Four Star didn’t test out this brand of tomatoes with the dish. I hope Four Star goes back to the other brand they used to provide.

Hi consider revising the recipe: 2 less bell peppers, add water equal to stock provided and cook shellfish separately from fish in pot as the fish is delicate. I loved the flavor and spices. Really wonderful!

Delicious tasting Cioppino kit. Easy to put together. With plenty of fish, clams, crab and shrimp. Enough to serve four , easily. I will definitely buy this again!

FourStar does it again! Delicious, fresh ingredients, loose but easy to follow instructions, and worth the price. Cannot wait to order again and put our own spin on the recipe.

This is the second time I have ordered the Cioppino kit. Both times it has been a stellar dish that dinner guests raved about. As always the shell fish and fish were fresh and the broth was delicious and plentiful.

We've bought this kit three years in a row and each time it gets better! Super easy to make and the seafood quality is incredible - fresh, plump and delicious! I've rarely had a better cioppino and look forward to the next time I can enjoy this treat. Oh, and the value for product is truly incredible! This easily feeds three with leftovers, not that there are any :)

Best Cioppino we've ever had! Isn't our first time buying this kit. Have had it for an anniversary and now New Year's! My kids made me promise this will be our new tradition for New Year's Eve!

First of all, excellent meal kit. I must say though that the chili flakes were missing from the kit. Good thing we had some handy! Generous portions of seafood; was able to make 2 hearty meals out of it. Will definitely order again!!! Yummy!

Absolutely delicious. Four generous dinner portions. The frozen crab was not as good as fresh but the saltiness was not an issue if you pick the crab and add it to the soup. A bit shocked by the amount of red pepper flakes (maybe half a cup?). If a newbie cook did not realize not to use it all, their guests might never return. Typically expect that the ingredients are portioned for the recipe. Not a 2 year’s supply. Will definitely order again.

Exactly as promised! And tasted amazing

This is simply the best cioppino bar none. The seafood was super fresh and all of the ingredients (except the wine) are included. So simple to pull together. Great for entertaining so you don't have to spend all of your time in the kitchen. We prepped the broth ahead of time and just added the fish when we were ready to eat. We then ate it for days!

I'd been craving cioppino for ages and decided to treat myself to this kit for Mother's Day so I wouldn't have to buy weird amounts of seafood and shellfish to make cioppino for two. This kit was outstanding. It had almost everything you need (minus red wine, salt, and pepper) and the instructions were simple and easy to follow. The seafood and shellfish were fresh and delicious, with almost no duds/dead mollusks to discard (impressive given they had to sit in my 'fridge an extra day after the kit arrived). The flavors were spot-on. I was especially happy with the generous servings and, within those generous servings, a particularly generous amount of crab. My only note would be to watch the amount of red chile flakes that you're adding if you're spice sensitive, but we aren't and enjoyed the heat very much!

Very carefully packaged and preserved. Seafood was high quality and all the ingredients were measured perfectly. Making the cioppino was extremely easy because of the thoughtfulness that Four Star Seafood put into assembling and delivering the goods. Thank you very much

Great kit, fresh seafood. I would suggest to put less red pepper crush ir amend the recipe as we poured the whole box and it was way too spicy. Luckily we can handle spicy food but most folks would not.

I’m amazed at how easy and delicious this was. We followed another reviewer and made cheesy garlic bread to go with. For two people this should last you two nights, or more!

Everything I needed was there. Unbelievably fresh produce and seafood. I loved it but for some the amount of red pepper made it too spicy. I’d advise using about 1/2 the red pepper and then adding more if you want it more spicy. I’ll definitely get it again.

Fantastic way to kick off the new year! This (very) generously portioned cioppino kit for two (but could easily feed four) contained everything except for the wine and garlic bread. This made for a super tasty and satisfying way to start the new year! Now I have some yummy leftovers to look forward to.

We did polish off the cioppino in one sitting on NYE...but can easily be enough for 2 dinners for 2. As others have noted, don't toss all the red pepper in your pot unless you can master high scoville units...it's a easy recipe but don't start too late, the careful chopping of peppers, onion and garlic does take some doing...it's all very much worth it. We thought it was a delicious NYE dinner. Thanks to the Four Star crew!

I’ve ordered and made this twice now. SO GOOD! Everything you need is included, except the red wine. I’ve made it once with wine and once without and prefer it without! This is as fun to make as it is delicious. It’s also fun to make with others. A perfect Covid-er date night activity.

The seafood was impeccably fresh. The Cioppino dish was delicious and everyone loved it. I served it over linguine and It fed four generously. One note though is that there was way too much ground red pepper provided. You should be sure to use it judiciously— reducing amount to your taste.

I have ordered this multiple times, including sending it as Xmas gifts to families in the Bay Area. So easy as pretty much everything is prepped. You just need to chop the onions, garlic, and bell peppers. It’s delish!

Customer service was excellent. I got the food on the day I expected. The seafood was plentiful. Three of us shared it and there is plenty more. The amount of crab was a nice surprise!

Omg so good, we’ve been having it weekly and are in love. We also got the acme bread and made garlic bread for an added little something. Highly recommend! We plan on hosting a pasta night with this dish for all our friends :)

Made this dish for a date night at home and oh, my, stars was this tasty. I cooked the broth down giving the flavors to really meld together into one of the richest, full body stock I’ve ever made. I was worried about it being fishy, but after letting the flavors mingle, along with the amazing seafood that was provided - this dish was 1000% a success.

Great fun to make and the fish was was all fresh and delicious. I do think the recipe should be amended - if you use all the red pepper flakes provided, you will get a VERY spicy cioppino. I made it with a friend and we loved it, but my heat-intolerant husband would have been sweating bullets. Also, given that there was no time estimate on how to tell when the fish is done, I suggest looking at the shrimp; it is easy to tell when they've turned pink.

Delicious meal kit! It was easy to put together and I could make the base ahead of time. It made a great Mother’s Day dinner for 3 people. Would definitely purchase again.

Wonderful flavors! We have ordered this kit many times. I used to wonder about what all the fuss over Cioppino was for. Now, I know. This is a great recipe, with unbelievably delicious seafood, and fantastic ingredients. Happily fed four seafood lovers!
