Smoked Sturgeon ~0.8 lbs - domestic

If you are bored with smoked salmon and like a thicker denser fish, and a fish that has a true smokey flavor, you are going to love smoked sturgeon. This fish really lends itself well to absorbing that wonderful smokey flavor without being bitter or over powering. It's perfect. I love how oily it is. While I've never done this I imagine that it would be heavenly with mayo ala tuna salad. I have put in on pizza during the last 60 seconds in the oven . . .a pizza with smoked sturgeon, anchovies, and salmon caviar is life changing!

Tue fish was fresh and delicious, not too salty.

The smoked sturgeon was divine, was packed with care, had a perfect texture and flavor, and was the main ingredient in a delicious and very well received whitefish salad. A hit!

This reminds me of the different kinds of smoke fish I got in Norway and satisfy my cravings for smoked fish. I wish it was more fatty but still a very good product. Will buy again

Good, but I missed the smoked sturgeon that I used to buy at a Fairfax delicatessen in LA.

We have been so happy with all of the fish and products from 4 Star Seafood & Provisions. Honestly, everything has been of excellent quality...from seafood to produce to pantry items.

Smoky, succulent, absolutely delicious. This was a special treat.
