Black Cod with Miso! I wouldn't think of buying our fish anywhere else. We also ordered their sushi-grade tuna, which I would highly recommend. Hands down, it is the best seafood.

Unfortunately we didn't take a picture, but the tuna was used in a lovely dish in which it was seared lightly then finished with a soy-based sauce and scallions and sliced in the style of a bavette. The quality of the fish was everything, and Four Star delivered as always.

Ordered Tuna, Nordic Salmon, and Hamachi (JP), all labelled Sushi Grade to make some sushi (along with some other fish). Generally very happy with quality and service, except the Hamachi. It was a tail piece that was somewhat "broken" as well. After trimming bloodline etc. the remaining piece was not really able to produce good slices for sashimi or sushi. Had to service most of it as smaller pieces of sashimi. Salmon and tuna were excellent quality and tasted great though!

One of my favorite ways to share this family style platter of ahi tun. Seared two-color sesame crusted Ahi Tuna With a Black Truffle Citrus Emulsion sauce on top of mandolin sliced English cucumbers and thinly sliced avocados.

I served the tuna steaks on New Year’s eve for my husban and I. I sliced it in smaller pieces/bite sized and pan fried with butter. You have to cook it in hot butter real fast to dear the outside and keep the inside a bit pink.
It was so yummy with just a squeeze of lemon, painted with creamy mashed potatoes and bokchoy! I’ll be ordering more tuna steaks for sure!
