

While most salt precipitates out on the bottom of the salt pans or marshes, Fleur de Sel is the salt that forms a delicate layer that floats on top of the water. It must be delicately harvested by hand and gently raked from the surface of the water. The result is a more complex flavor and texture that your average sea salt. We recommend using this salt as a finishing salt so as to preserve the depth of flavor!
