L'Amuse Signature Gouda - 8 oz


This cheese is truly one of the best goudas you will ever have.  The wheels are hand-selected and then aged an additional 2 years at L'Amuse cheese shop.  The result is a cheese with a deep amber color, crunchy protein crystals, and a butter, salty flavor with undertones or caramel and hazelnuts. Pasteurized, Traditional Rennet.

    Betty's opleggers sometimes age wheels at warmer-than-normal temperatures. It’s a high wire act of affinage, one that can produce off flavors if not done carefully.

    But when it works, as it does with L’amuse Signature, it creates a cheese with a distinctive roasted hazelnut and burnt caramel flavor that retains its velvety texture.
